LogiSYM Platinum Malaysia 2025: Driving Digital, Sustainable and Secure Supply Chains

On 27 August 2025, the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) hosted LogiSYM Platinum Malaysia 2025, a premier gathering of supply chain professionals, industry leaders, and technology innovators. With the theme “Digital, Sustainable, and Secure: Empowering Supply Chain Agility and Efficiency”, the event provided a high-impact platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and networking among global and regional stakeholders.

The one-day symposium attracted 200 delegates from across Asia and beyond, underscoring Malaysia’s growing role as a regional hub for logistics and supply chain excellence. Two CEO panels (Supply Chain Megatrends and Ports & Shipping) were a highlight of the programme, bringing together top executives from shipping, logistics, and manufacturing sectors. Two masterclasses conducted by industry experts Dr Janya Chanchaichujit and Mr Nazery Khalid provided participants with deep-dive learning on emission accounting for freight transport and megatrends affecting global supply chains & logistics, respectively.

A key takeaway from the event was the critical need for collaboration across industries and geographies. Discussions emphasised that no single organisation can succeed in isolation in today’s volatile environment. Instead, partnerships, alliances, and shared digital platforms are crucial for building agile, end-to-end supply chain solutions.

The exhibition of MALT complemented the symposium by showcasing cutting-edge solutions from technology providers, logistics companies, and academic institutions. Delegates engaged directly with solution partners, discovering innovations that are already shaping the future of logistics and supply chains.

Another recurring theme was sustainability, reflecting growing pressure from regulators, consumers, and investors. From decarbonisation pathways to circular supply chains, the sessions reinforced the industry’s commitment to meeting sustainability targets without compromising efficiency and competitiveness.

LogiSYM Platinum Malaysia 2025 also highlighted the human factor—from nurturing talent to upskilling the workforce for a digital future. Panellists noted that technology adoption must be matched with people development to unlock true supply chain agility.
