Ton is the global head of Ince & Co’s ports, logistics & terminals practice and Ton is also the head of projects & energy in Asia.
Ton specialises in infrastructure and energy projects, including ports and terminals as well as offshore oil & gas projects (particularly FPSOs). Ton advises at all stages of the economic life-cycle, including on project development, private m&a, corporate transactions, corporate finance, project finance and complex commercial agreements. This experience includes advising on PPPs, concessions, lease contracts, charters, project structures and joint ventures. Ton has particular expertise in frontier and emerging markets in Africa and in Asia.
Educated in the Netherlands, Ton is qualified in England and Wales and in the Netherlands. Ton previously served as general counsel for an international oil & gas contractor and, more recently, a global container terminal operator with its headquarters in the Philippines.
