Sheng Jie is the Managing Director, BOSC Consulting Asia.
He is a seasoned supply chain practitioner with over 20 years of experience in air freight, contract logistics and last-mile distribution in Asia Pacific.
His expertise includes supply chain quality systems, continuous improvement programs, vendor management and speciality cargo solutions such as dangerous goods and temperature-sensitive air cargo.
He has built track records in supporting global companies in their distribution network in Asia.
In his previous role as the Head of Healthcare at CEVA Logistics Asia Pacific (2019 to 2023), he supported global healthcare companies in optimising their distribution through various operating innovations. This includes regional distribution centres, cross-stocking and multi-model freight solutions. He led various supply chain global and regional tenders and secured business wins in both air and ocean freight and warehousing and distribution centres.
His other executive experience includes Managing Director of Product and Solutions at FedEx (2015-2019), Regional Industry Director, Healthcare, TNT Express (2001 to 2015).
He is passionate about continuous improvement. He is a trainer and auditor of the IATA CEIV program. He advises third-party logistics companies in building their quality system and improving vendor management and operation performance.
Mr Ni is an Asia Development Bank (ADB) Scholar in 1993 and holds a degree of Master of Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management, in the Philippines. He is a Charter Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, Singapore (CILT).
