Randy is Research Director – IoT & Telco for IDC Market Research, Asia Pacific and is responsible for the research and business development activities with Communication Service Providers and IoT players in the region. Randy is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Randy has held executive and C-level positions in companies across the technology ecosystem including devices, applications, mobile networks and services. He was most recently CEO & Founder of Renodo Consulting providing IoT consulting services to GSM and satellite network operators. Prior to founding Renodo, Randy was Chief Innovation Officer at Thuraya Telecommunications, based in Dubai, where he was responsible for innovation, marketing, product development, product management, business intelligence and solutions engineering. He has held a variety of leadership roles at Siemens, AT&T, BlackBerry, Motorola and Nokia.
Randy holds a Finance degree from Texas Tech University in the USA and is an avid triathlete.
