Professor Dr. Pimpen Pornchaloempong is currently the Director of the Factory Classroom at the School of Engineering, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL). She is also an esteemed faculty member in the Department of Food Engineering at the same institution. Dr. Pimpen is involved in both educational and research initiatives, with a focus on the application of food engineering in practical industrial settings.
As the head of the Factory Classroom, she plays a pivotal role in bridging academic knowledge with industrial practices, providing hands-on learning experiences for students in real-world environments. Dr. Pimpen is also engaged in collaborative research, including partnerships with other universities and research centers, particularly in the field of natural products and food processing technologies.
