Professor Dr. Mohd Nazil Salleh, CSci, Ph.D., is a respected figure in Biomedical Sciences, with degrees from Malaysia and the UK. He has held leadership positions at various institutions, including Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic and International at UCMI, and Acting Vice Chancellor in 2024. Currently, he serves as Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic at SAITO University College. Dr. Salleh has been involved in Sino-foreign education initiatives in Chinese colleges and has been recognised as the first Malaysian Chartered ScienCst by the UK Science Council. He has received prestigious awards, including the Academic ScienCst category at the 9th Asia Association of Medical Laboratory Science (AAMLS) and the Malaysia Outstanding Personality Award. Dr. Salleh has made significant contributions to the field through his work with the Malaysian Ministry of Health and various leadership roles in Malaysia’s Biomedical and allied health organizations. Additionally, he has served as President of the ASEAN Association of Schools of Medical Technology and has been recognised by the IFBLS. With over 16 years of experience, Dr. Salleh has served on accreditation teams for Biomedical Sciences programmes and has supervised numerous doctoral students. As Editor-in-Chief of the Malaysian Journal of Medical Laboratory Sciences, he has published numerous scientific papers in naConal and internaConal journals.
