Ooi Lean Hin, is the managing director and co-founder of MTT Shipping and Logistics Berhad, with over 45 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry. Since co-establishing the Group in 2010, he has played a pivotal role in driving its growth and expansion.
He has held various senior leadership roles across shipping agencies and freight forwarding companies, bringing extensive industry expertise. He was the Vice Chairman of Evergreen Malaysia from 2001 until 2017, where he played a key role in the relocation of a substantial portion of Evergreen Taiwan’s transhipment hub from the Port of Singapore to the Port of Tanjung Pelepas.
He currently serves as Chairman of the Shipping Association of Malaysia, actively contributing to the development of Malaysia’s maritime sector.
