Melvie Espejo is a director of Sustainability Research in IDC Asia/Pacific. Her research tackles sustainability/environmental, social, and governance (ESG) themes with a 360-degree lens covering topics such as circularity and the circular economy, green procurement, and sustainability/ESG regulations. Her published research has been used to support public policy development and for business strategy development and execution, go-to-market (GTM), and innovation efforts of global companies.
Melvie has more than 20 years of experience in research, business development, stakeholders’ engagement, and strategy execution that span multiple industries, including logistics. She co-founded a research company serving MSMEs called Limelighter Research, Inc in the Philippines and was formerly the General Manager of the Wallace Business Forum (WBF).
