A distinguished Singapore Armed Forces Overseas Scholar, Junyang was sponsored for his undergraduate and graduate education by the Singapore government and holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Stanford University, USA (M.Sc) and Bachelor of Science degree from University College London, UK (B.Sc). Junyang had served in the Singapore Navy for 7 years and has vast experience working with military drones and hopes to apply drone technology for peaceful civilian purposes. Junyang has also signed an open letter to the UN with Elon Musk and other 115 founders of the world’s top Artificial Intelligence companies to ban the use of “killer robots”.
