Henk Jan Jonge Poerink is the Senior Vice President of Global Operations at BE Semiconductor Industries (BESI) and Managing Director of BESI APAC, based in Shah Alam, Malaysia. With over 20 years of leadership experience in high-tech manufacturing and global operations, he oversees BESI’s worldwide strategy for precision, efficiency, and innovation. Prior to joining BESI, Henk Jan held senior roles at VDL Enabling Technologies Group and Philips, where he led advanced engineering teams across aerospace, prototyping, and industrial manufacturing. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Twente and is known for his strong technical foundation and forward-thinking approach to operational excellence.
