Geoffrey Williams is currently Professor at ELM Graduate School, HELP University. He was formerly Deputy Vice Chancellor at University Tun Abdul Razak (UNIRAZAK), Malaysia. He read economics in Cambridge University and has held academic posts in the University of Oxford and the London Business School where he was a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Forecasting.

He has been an economics advisor to the UK Government, the European Union and the EPU in Malaysia and a private consultant to many major companies in Malaysia, Asia and the Middle East. Professor Williams is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) in the United Kingdom was he was also elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in 2004. He was a Visiting Fellow at the Penang Institute 2015-16. In 2017 he was honoured with a Lifetime Contribution Award for his work in corporate social responsibility and sustainability.
