Nicholas Brooks

Managing Director
Zaeto

Nicholas Brooks is the Managing Director Zaeto – a specialist provider of green technology (environmentally aware) lubricants and additives in the UAE.

Brooks, aged 40, has built a sound base of theoretical knowledge in the field of industrial technology and its possible advancements, during his time pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Applied Science in Melbourne, Australia. Since graduating from RMIT in 2000, he has amassed a host of business skills by occupying various positions in sales, trade and business development, across various industries in both Australia, Europe and the UAE and with companies including Emirates Group, Etihad and EGA.

Brooks moved to Dubai in 2007, and has since then co-founded Cycle Safe Dubai – an initiative that encourages safe cycling in the region – and is also a Partner in Revolution Cycles Dubai, through which he has been able to further develop his entrepreneurial and management capabilities. Most recently he has been involved in a high tech recycling company for the motor industry.

The formation of Zaeto stemmed from Brooks’ vision to help local firms reduce its negative impacts on the delicate ecosystem of the region. Through Zaeto’s advanced IP and technological products, he aims to provide green solutions to protect and maintain machinery in the extreme climate conditions of the Middle East, allowing users to get an economy for their assets.

Brooks says, “I have always enjoyed the process of linking good people to good products for good reasons. As the UAE is moving towards a more environmentally aware future, especially with one of the focuses on sustainability in government initiatives, Zaeto’s products are ideally suited to a market that is no longer tolerant of unnecessary pollutants and inefficiency.”
