Lok Mun Leng has more than 16 years of experience in managing supply chains, and he has helped to play a key role in transforming the supply chain management to a proactive model in the Singhealth Group. His previous role includes assisting the Group Chief Procurement Officer in developing a strategic plan for supply chain management in the non-pharmaceutical area.
He currently leads the team that manages more than 400 contracts covering clinical and non-clinical supplies, equipment and service contracts with an annual spend of $320 million. The team handles about 300 sourcing events a year. He also partners with the agency for integrated care to help more than 35 nursing homes and community hospitals in aggregate buy.
Mun Leng is passionate in driving supply chain improvement in public healthcare provider setting, and has played a key role in helping to transform the supply chain management to a proactive model in SingHealth Group, a public sector healthcare provider that comprises hospitals, medical specialist centres and polyclinics.
He is an active participant as speaker in numerous conferences and forums in private and public sector as well as guest lecturer at the NUS Business School. Conducts several in-house workshops and forums for internal staff.
