Miss Cheryl Chan is currently the Group Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer in ST Engineering.

Prior to joining ST Engineering, Cheryl was responsible for APAC Clean Hydrogen in Linde, a leading global industrial gases and engineering company. She joined Linde in 2007 and held various global and APAC management positions in corporate strategy, product portfolio management, supply chain operations, product marketing, business development and led the merger & integration of Praxair and Linde for the APAC Management Office.

She begun her career in 1999 with Kulicke & Soffa, a world’s leading supplier of semiconductor back-end assembly equipment. Here, she spent several years in technical & customer interfacing roles and engineering management before moving on to product marketing in Asia.

Besides her private sector role, Cheryl is also a Member of the Singapore Parliament for East Coast GRC. She serves in the Government Parliamentary Committees as the Chairperson for the Ministry of National Development and a member of the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment.

Cheryl graduated with an Honors degree in Applied Science (Materials Engineering) from Nanyang Technological University. She also holds a Master in Business Management (MBA) from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management. In 2013, Cheryl was awarded the Public Service Medal for her community work by the President of Singapore. In 2016, she was honored by her alma mater with the NTU Nanyang Outstanding Young Alumni Award for her accomplishments in both the public and private sectors.
