Angela spent the last 19 years in the Telecommunications and IT Industry driving Business Development, Sales & Account Management and General Management Activities across the APAC region with strong focus in some countries like Singapore, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and selected emerging markets.
Having her core specialisation in mobile (since 2G onwards) and wireless technologies, she is conversant in driving high level digital transformation and innovation business conversations across a broad spectrum of players, such as Mobile Network Operators, Multinational Corporations, Small and Medium Sized Enterprises, OTTs, Start-ups, OEMs, Tertiary Institutions, and Industry bodies. She has had notable success in driving a good number of green field innovation projects (eg. real-time analytics, fixed-mobile convergence, and mobile applications) over the years for StarHub Ltd, through the performance of business due diligence, teams and process set-up, strategic planning, execution and management. She managed the Enterprise Mobility and the IoT Embedded Connectivity portfolio driving various digitalisation topics for the APAC region while at Deutsche Telekom/T-Systems International. She also runs her own consultancy business where she supported several start-ups in the HealthTech and FinTech space in their business on-boarding and go-to-market, as well as business development for a Tier1 provider with one of world’s largest OEMs on global consumer app-based connectivity deployment and other peripheral applications. She currently supports Roambee on their sales activities in the region for its end-to-end IoT smart tracking and monitoring solutions.
Angela holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the National University of Singapore.
