SYNOPSIS

Today’s warehouse and distribution centre operators are tasked to improve productivity, efficiency and throughput in environments characterised by erratic demand patterns, e-commerce driven fast fulfilment requirements, space constraints, as well as labour and skills shortages. While technology is available to alleviate the shortcomings associated with manual processes and equipment, operators can face issues in understanding and selecting the systems and solutions that are right for their facilities.
