SYNOPSIS

For perishable products, air freight is an indispensable mode of transportation around the world. The more sensitive the goods, the more important end-to-end transparency within the supply chain becomes. However, there are few solutions that offer this in high quality for air freight. In this case study, Martin Schulze, CEO of BlueBox Systems, explains how his start-up is already using such a solution with the BlueBoxAir Air Freight Visibility Platform. Together with the international freight forwarder Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, this enables the salmon farmer King Salmon from New Zealand to achieve ultimate visibility for its sensitive goods. Schulze offers exclusive access to the platform, insights into the cooperation with the freight forwarder and customers as well as the integration of trackers.
