Graphic Designer / Digital Editor

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing creative designs for a wide array of media to fit the needs of the magazines, events and sales/marketing promotions. You will oversee the design’s production to ensure the designs are completed in a timely manner. You will also use your knowledge of design software to accomplish these responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the creative concept and design development of our monthly magazines in print and digital
  • Responsible for the creative concept and design development of all marketing collateral online and offline (i.e. Social media content, EDMs, brochures, sales kits)
  • Publishing content on the CMS platform; keep the websites current and information accurate
  • Creating and distribution of monthly magazine newsletters
  • Producing webinars: promotion, recording, editing, release (via website and social media)
  • Liaising with external suppliers on production matters and timeline
  • Proper and systematic documentation and archiving of artwork
  • Supporting the sales team in all necessary content creation and execution

 

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of graphic design principles and best practices (e.g. typography, color theory, layout, information hierarchy)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Knowledge of WordPress, email marketing platforms (i.e. Getresponse, Sendinblue), social media platforms (i.e. YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Ability to code, animate, create motion graphics and/or dynamic design skills a plus
  • Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Outgoing and fun-loving personality
