THE 6TH LOGISYM AWARDS 2024 RECOGNISES INDIVIDUALS AND COMPANIES WHO HAVE SHOWN EXCELLENCE AND CONTRIBUTED SIGNIFICANTLY TO THE SUPPLY CHAIN AND LOGISTICS INDUSTRY

SUBMISSION AND NOMINATION RULES

  • Companies/Individuals may be nominated for more than one category
  • Companies/Individuals may nominate themselves
  • Members of the Advisory Board or the Executive Committee of the Logistics & Supply Chain Management Society are not eligible to be nominated for awards in the Individual categories
  • Nominations must be submitted on or before 3 April 2024 at https://forms.gle/CAp5maBh8HMUCf4z6
  • Late or incomplete submissions will be disqualified
  • The judges’ decision will be final

SUPPLIERS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS

 

 

BEST COLD CHAIN SERVICE PROVIDER

Nominees for this award shall be responsible for ensuring safe and reliable transportation and storage of temperature-sensitive goods. In assessing the submissions, the judges will look for nominees that offer transportation and warehouse infrastructure specifically tailored for cold chain demands, compliance to regulations and expertise in temperature management, and real-time visibility and post-event reporting.

 

BEST CARGO TRANSPORTATION COMPANY

Nominees for this award shall be involved in offering cargo transportation services by sea or air that serve to support the operations of client companies. In assessing the submissions, the judges will look for nominees that achieve success in increasing service levels, optimising costs, and improving sustainability performance for customers. Nominations can also highlight product and service innovations and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of cross-border trade issues and their implications.

 

BEST LAST MILE DELIVERY COMPANY

Nominees for this award shall be responsible for ensuring the timely and reliable final delivery of goods to consumers or businesses. In assessing the submissions, the judges will look for nominees that offer last mile delivery services that offer clients competitive pricing, flexible time slots, security and integrity in-transit, real-time visibility, and high levels of customer care.

 

BEST SUPPLY CHAIN CONSULTING COMPANY

Nominees for this award shall be involved in offering consulting services that deliver profitable and sustainable improvements in logistics and supply chain performance for discerning clients.  In assessing the submissions, the judges will look for nominees that can offer high levels of expertise and experience in specific industry sectors, deep understanding of supply chain practices, appreciation of the potential of new technologies. In addition, nominations can show evidence of recent successful client engagements.

 

BEST SUPPLY CHAIN SOFTWARE COMPANY

Nominees for this award shall be involved in offering software solutions that facilitate logistics and supply chain processes. In assessing the submissions, the judges will look for nominee solutions that exhibit deep functionality, high performance, ease-of-use, integrability, and that have delivered proven benefits to clients. In addition, nominations can highlight new market initiatives and technological innovations.

 

BEST WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS COMPANY

Nominees for this award shall be involved in offering WMS solutions that are helping to drive and deliver superior warehouse performance. In assessing the submissions, the judges will look for nominee solutions that exhibit deep functionality, ease-of-use, integrability, and that have delivered proven benefits to clients. In addition, nominations can highlight new market initiatives and technological innovations.

 

BEST WAREHOUSE ROBOTICS COMPANY

Nominees for this award shall be involved in offering robotics solutions for intralogistics applications such as picking, packing and transportation. In assessing the submissions, the judges will look for nominee solutions which have delivered proven productivity and efficiency benefits. In addition, nominations can highlight new technology innovations plus attention to safety and ease of use.

 

BEST WAREHOUSE AUTOMATION COMPANY

Nominees for this award shall be involved in offering automated material handling/storage equipment for use in warehouses and distribution centres. In assessing the submissions, the judges will look for nominee solutions that have delivered proven productivity and efficiency benefits. In addition, nominations can highlight new market initiatives and technology innovations plus attention to safety and ergonomics. (Note: companies primarily offering autonomous mobile robot (AMR) systems should enter their nominations in the Warehouse Robotics category)

SHIPPERS

 

BEST TECHNOLOGY ADOPTER

This award is for an end user (shipper) company that is making specific and judicious use of technologies to realise significant improvements in logistics and supply chain performance. In assessing the submissions, the judges will look for nominations that show evidence of deep understanding of newer technologies, such as AI, cloud and robotics, and how and where they can best be deployed in the organisation to optimise processes and deliver tangible benefits.

 

BEST SUPPLY CHAIN INNOVATOR

This award is for an end user (shipper) company that continually aims to improve its supply chain function through innovation. In assessing the submissions, the judges will look for nominees that consistently implement new practices or technologies in their organisations to deliver tangible increases in supply chain performance. Nominations can also indicate initiatiatives aimed at embedding new ways of working in the organisation, upskilling and reskilling, and overcoming “innovation fatigue”.

 

BEST SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE

This award is for an end user (shipper) company that is incorporating the ethos of sustainability to realise significant improvements across environmental indicators including carbon emissions, energy management, and materials recycling. Nominations can also demonstrate activities aimed at promoting and prioritising sustainability within the organisation and externally at public forums.

Individual Awards

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT CHAMPION

Nominees for this award shall have a track record of success in improving or transforming company supply chain performance.  As well as a solid understanding of the art and science of supply chain management, nominations can demonstrate how superior leadership abilities, astute change management skills, and tenacity in the face of challenging circumstances have contributed towards their achievements.

 

SUSTAINABILITY CHAMPION

Nominees for this award shall be involved in developing and successfully implementing initiatives that serve to promote environmental sustainability. These initiatives can encompass areas such as carbon emissions reduction, energy efficiency, materials recycling and waste management. Nominations can also highlight efforts to evangelise the ethos of sustainability within companies and to the broader industry.

 

YOUNG LOGISTICS LEADER OF THE YEAR

This award recognises an outstanding young (25-39) individual in the industry who has already made significant achievements in his career and is on track to reach further heights as a senior C-level executive in the years ahead. The judges will look for attributes including leadership skills, domain and industry sector knowledge, regional and global orientation, resilience and ambition.

 

SUPPLY CHAIN C-LEVEL EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR

Nominees for this award should demonstrate C-level executive abilities in developing and leading a company’s supply chain organisation of a company. In assessing the submissions, the judges will look for nominees with superior skills in aspects such as strategy formulation, operational execution, people leadership and development, communications, as well as an understanding of the opportunities afforded by new technologies and sustainability demands are impacting the supply chain.

Special Award

SHIPPERS’ COUNCIL AWARD FOR THE TOP 3PL COMPANY

The winner of this special award, which recognises excellence in third party logistics (3PL), is evaluated and selected by the members of the Shippers’ Council, an organisation under the purview of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Society (LSCMS). As such, nominations are not required or accepted.

 

LOGISYM EXCELLENCE AWARD

This special award is for exceptional service to the logistics and supply chain sector by an individual recognised for his/her multiple and high achievements during a stellar career dedicated to serving this industry. The winner is identified and selected by the LogiSYM Asia Pacific 2024 Organising Committee. As such, nominations are not required or accepted.
