Dr Deborah Elms is Executive Director of the Asian Trade Centre in Singapore and a senior fellow in the Ministry of Trade and Industry’s Trade Academy. Her research covers regional trade agreements, the ASEAN Economic Community and global value chains, and she publishes the Talking Trade Blog.
